Our Story
Weimaraners are the perfect fit for our family. We love their versatility, smart minds, and beautiful looks. They are eager to please and a true joy to have around.

At “Trusted Oak Kennels” we can find you a dog that fits your lifestyle. With the help of our mentor, “Full Circle Weimaraners,” we have proven bloodlines that have created Weimaraners that uphold the breeds versatility.
1. Companionship: Weimaraners are known for their loyalty and affectionate nature. They form strong bonds with their families and are often described as “Velcro dogs” due to their desire to stay close to their owners.
2. Hunting: Originally bred as a hunting dog, Weimaraners are exceptional pointers, retrievers, and trackers. Their keen senses, agility, and stamina make them excellent for tracking game and working in diverse environments. We have raised and used several Full Circle dogs for tracking shot elk in Wyoming, as well as whitetail deer in Oklahoma and Kansas.
3. Training and Sports: Weimaraners excel in various dog sports and activities, including obedience, agility, and tracking. Their intelligence and eagerness to please make them highly trainable and adept at learning new skills. Our Full Circle Weimaraners have excelled in dock diving, fast cat, agility, rally, and scent work.
4. Family Life: Despite their high energy levels, Weimaraners can adapt well to family life. They are excellent with children and can be calm and affectionate pets when given adequate exercise and mental stimulation. They love to become a couch potato and keep shedding to a minimum because of their short coat and light colored hair. They also adapt well to living outside and protecting your property from unwanted newcomers.
5. Work and Assistance: Their intelligence and versatility also make them suitable for roles like search and rescue, therapy work, and even as service dogs in some cases. Weims are used for many different types of detection work from search and rescue to disease. We currently have a Full Circle dog in training to detect water leaks!
